Hello,
This Purple Urethane is much more aggressive than the original blue from the 80s. This is more suited for toady's modern oils and conditions.

I've got a Blue Hammer(16 lb.) from the 80's. I don't bowl league, but I go on weekends with the kids. Can still throw a 200 now and again. Mostly 180ish, but the ball still breaks. I have a back end hook, as I start on 2nd arrow(10th board), and it finishes in the pocket. Sometimes I will hit 12th, 13th, and throw brooklyn. Either way, I'm not a hard thrower, 15-16mph, but pins scatter. Still a good ball, as I carried a 185 avg. with this ball...
