Both use the Iron Fist V2 Core, so the cover is the difference. The solid Spartan reads early and grinds through heavy oil, while the Spartan Pearl stores more energy through the front and saves it for a sharper, more angular move on the back end. A common way to pair them is the solid Spartan on fresh heavy oil, then the Spartan Pearl as the oil transitions. Ebonite also says it is sharper than its smoother pearl asymmetrics, the Entity Pearl and The One Ovation.
