Storm designed it for short patterns and flat, demanding conditions, the spots where bowlers have traditionally reached for urethane, and the listing names medium oil. It is a control piece with moderate total hook, so it is not the ball for maximum hook on heavy oil. To fine-tune the grip, take the 1000-grit surface lower for more traction or smooth it for a slightly cleaner read, with changes done at your pro shop.
