Hammer built it for medium to heavy oil. It is a high-flare, traction-first ball, so if you want a controlled, lower-hook reaction, a lower-differential ball will suit you better. Leave it at the box finish for medium to heavy oil, have your pro shop take the surface lower for the heaviest volume, or polish it for a cleaner, longer look as the lanes dry.
