Brunswick built it as a clean, controllable benchmark for medium oil, and it can be adjusted up as the oil increases. Leave it at the 2000-grit box finish for medium oil, take the surface lower for more traction when the volume climbs, or polish it for more length when the lanes dry. Have surface changes done at your pro shop for an even finish.
