Both use the Solarion A.I. Core. The original pearl Equinox skids and flips on medium oil, while the sanded A2S Solid cover reads earlier and hooks more for heavier volume. A good way to use them together is the Solid on fresher, oilier patterns, then the pearl Equinox as the lanes transition.
