Both use the MC2 Asym Core, so the cover is the difference. The polished pearl gets down the lane cleaner than the solid, reads later, and makes a sharper, more angular move at the back end. A common way to pair them is the Theorem Solid on fresh medium to heavy oil, then the Theorem Pearl as the lane transitions and you want more length and angle.
