Asymmetric. The Gear APG Core is the asymmetric evolution of the symmetric Gear core used in the benchmark Venoms. At 15 pounds it measures a 2.47 RG, a .036 differential and a .013 intermediate differential, per the manufacturer's specs, which gives a controllable motion with a more defined breakpoint than the symmetric Venoms.
