Yes. It ships at a 4000-grit finish for a clean, controllable read on dry to medium oil. Take the surface down with a lower-grit pad for an earlier, stronger read on more oil, or polish it for more length when the lanes dry. Have surface changes done at your pro shop for an even, consistent finish.
