It is a strong, early-reading ball with plenty of backend. Flare potential is listed at 4 to 5 inches, from a low 2.466 RG and a strong .056 differential at 15 pounds that produce heavy flare and an early rev. The sanded solid cover reads the mid-lane with traction to spare, and instead of rolling out it keeps driving through the pins. If you want a controlled, lower-hook reaction, a lower-differential ball will suit you better.
