Together they describe a strong, early ball. At 15 pounds the Gauntlet Core has a 2.501 RG, a strong .050 differential and a .012 intermediate differential, and the page says that combination produces high track flare and an early, defined breakpoint. The strong differential gives the flare to clear heavy oil, and the asymmetric design adds a defined move at the spot. The 1000-grit finish is a coarse, sanded surface built to grip in oil.
