It is a big hook with a sharp change of direction. Flare potential is listed at 4 to 5 inches, from the Torpedo core's low 2.482 RG, strong .054 differential and .017 intermediate differential at 15 pounds, which rev the ball early and create a pronounced, angular breakpoint. The polished HK22C+ pearl saves energy through the fronts, so the move comes late and sharp. If you want a controlled, lower-hook reaction, a lower-differential ball will suit you better.
