The Power Edge polish helps the Equinox go longer before it hooks. Together with the pearl cover, it conserves energy through the front of the lane, so the ball pushes cleanly through the heads, then makes a sharp, controlled move at the friction. If you want an earlier, smoother read, have your pro shop take the surface down, and re-polish later to bring the length back.
